We were asked to come in on a day and give a presentation. It was so much fun interacting and conversing about eating and health. I believe it is a conversation the opens the minds of others to see that there are certain stigmas and labels that detour people from understanding diet and health. Like what it is to be vegan, and the differences between a vegan and a vegetarian. Answering the simple question, "What do I eat, breakfast, lunch, and dinner?" After we talked. We fed the girls vegan chili with brown rice , vegan veggie patties and a side salad. #vegan #yogilaurem So proud of my girl for her commitment to these girls empowering them and providing them with opportunities for expanding their consciousness and having divine overstanding their role as young wombyn in this world. I am most grateful for having the honor to see her grow in a year as well watch this unsuspecting relationship unfold and blossom. It's interesting as we may have different religious beliefs but it is our character and the intention we put behind our daily acts that bind us and allow us to find common ground. Giving thanks for the love that is unfolding for us and these girls and the girls around the world who will get to experience the Rise Up experience.#sistarsworkingtogethaforourfuture #getfree #yogicoalition#thruguidanceriseup Facts: 1 vegan saves 1.3 million gallons of water per year It takes 2,500 gallons to make just one pound of meat.
